Vantage's RP-Touch Keypad

Orem, UT -- Vantage has released a new button style with its RP-Touch keypad. RP-Touch buttons offer several aesthetical improvements combined with laser engraving, LED backlighting, true-type fonts, and stylish new faceplates. Vantage

RP-Touch keypads offer an alternative to Vantage’s BriteStyle keypads, and have been optimized for the InFusion platform. Whereas BriteStyle buttons required installers to customize stations with printed fonts or icons, RP-Touch keypad buttons come factory laser-engraved with a choice of true type font engraving on each button.

Further, each RP-Touch keypad button is backlit by a tri-color LED, allowing virtually unlimited color choices. When pressed, the buttons will change color or light intensity to signify that the homeowner has activated that scenario. The keypad also features an ambient light sensor for automatic day/night backlight intensity control. Specially designed to work with TrimLine, Softline, or Align metal faceplate styles, RP-Touch is available in four color waves: Arctic White, Vantage Ivory, Oil Rubbed Bronze, and Black.

“Vantage is constantly working to add additional style and functionality to its broad range of keypad interfaces,” said Andrew Wale, Vantage vice president of marketing. “RP-Touch is the first of our new button styles, and it has already been well-received by dealers in early tests.”

RP-Touch is slated to begin shipping in September of 2009.
