Qsonix has begun shipping its version 2.6 software update for all existing users and models of its music management system. Qsonix offers an upgrade for its music management systems This upgrade includes several feature enhancements and user interface improvements throughout the system, including Track/Song Composer browsing and search, GUI and cosmetic enhancements including new buttons, menus and fonts, new album views, including composer and track encoding details, web interface improvements and more. Version 2.6 adds support for the optional “Performance Audio Pack” upgrade that delivers third-party external USB DAC (Digital to Analog Converters) capabilities, .wav uncompressed CD ripping and import and playback of high-resolution 24-bit audio. The Performance Audio Pack upgrade is available to all new and existing Qsonix customers and is priced at $600 USD. These enhancements open the gate for discerning audio listeners to take advantage of the increasing number of mid- and high-performance USB DACs appearing in the market as well as the benefit to enjoy the ultimate music experience with high-resolution audio from online music sources such as AixRecords.com, Itrax.com, HDtracks.com, Linnrecords.com and others.
